DJW Motorsport is a family owned and operated racing team based in South Australia. Our driver, Daniel Westcott, competes in the open wheeled Formula Vee category with the aid and support from our valued team partners. Formula Vee is designed as an affordable entry level category, the next step after go-kart racing. We pride ourselves on being one of the most professional and well presented teams in the category. We strive to excel in every facet of our sport, both on and off the track.

DJW Motorsport are a family owned and run team based in Lewiston, South Australia. Our driver, Daniel Westcott, competes in the open wheeled Formula Vee category with the aid of valuable support from our team sponsors.

Formula vee is the most affordable open wheel racing car category in Australia. It represents the ultimate in simple but effective technology in an affordable race car package.

Formula Vee racing provides the thrill of fiercely competitive motor racing at a budget cost. Permitted modifications are minimal so that greater emphasis is on driver skill rather than budget. Formula Vee is controlled by the Formula Vee Association of Australia (FVAA). Without any support from the motor sports establishment, Formula Vee is the fastest growing category with the largest pool of cars in Australian motor sport. A feature of Formula Vee racing is the drivers hitting 200 kph along the straights and then keeping the cars 'on the edge' for the whole race in tight formations. The strong VW engine can take revs of up to 7000 RPM. Vee cars race hard and close together with frequent lead changes and close finishes. Laptimes are only slightly below those of much more powerful cars. Formula Vee is found on every racing circuit in Australia with sometimes over 40 cars in an event.

DJW Motorsport have completed building their new Jacer F2K5 1600cc car and is from a marque of Formula Vee that has enjoyed considerable success over many years. Assembly and preparation was completed in our Lewiston workshop and made it's debut in October 2009 at Oran Park N.S.W.

DJW Motorsport previously campaigned a QV91 1200cc car that was an extremely competitive and successful Formula Vee with back to back 2nd place in class in the Shannon’s National Series in 2007 and 2008.

1998	Daniel commenced racing Go Karts at the age of 11.
2001	Saw a natural progression into the Junior class, with limited success.
2002	Proved to be a significant learning curve with our transfer to the Kustom Karts team. We had 14 podium finishes from 17 meetings.
2003	Saw a continuation of the previous year’s success including winning the Junior National Heavy class at the SA State Championships.
2004	Time to move to the seniors. The success continued with a win in the Senior Light class at the Victorian State Championship.
2005	Encouraged to move into cars. Purchased a 1991 model Formula Vee open wheel race car. Spent time modifying and improving car ready for racing in 2006.
2006	Began racing. Finished our first year of FVEE in 8th spot in the SA State Championships.
2007	1^st Place round win Oran Park NSW Shannon’s National Series Finished 2^nd in Shannon’s National Series 1200cc class. 2^nd SCCSA South Australian State Championship. 3^rdv Outright CAMS South Australian State Championship (includes 1600cc cars)
2008	2^nd Phillip Island round 1 Shannon’s Nationals. Finishing 2nd place again in Shannon’s Nationals Series (1200cc)
2009	Waiting for new 1600cc Jacer F2K5 to be completed.
2009	Completed Jacer F2K5 1600cc construction.
2009	Made debut at Oran Park (N.S.W.) in October.
2010	3^rd Outright in the CAMS S.A. State Championship. 3^rd in SCCSA State Championship Series. 2^nd ORCC Formula Vee Club Championship
2011	Hyundai debut at Mallala on 13^th February 2011
